THAKUR SHRI RAMAKRISHNA BUILDING WITH THE NAT MANDIR -KOLKATA

₹3,000.00 – ₹30,000.00

Swami Vivekananda Ramakrishna Paramahansa’s main and most illustrious disciple , had envisioned building a unique temple .It was a tribute combining various architectural features of different religions to his guru , the multifaceted ,all -embracing divine personality of Shri Ramakrishna , who advocated the principles of universal brotherhood and religion .Thus it was that Swami Vivekananda chose the site in his lifetime beside the holy Ganges at Blur Math.

Three decades after Swami Vivekananda’s passing ,the idea was given shape by Swami Vijanananda ,another direct disciple of Shri Ramakrishna , with the help of Martin Burn and Company ,the then famous architectural builders of Calcutta .Construction was completed and the temple was consecrated on 14 January 1938.
