MOTHER TERESA (1910 -1997)-KOLKATA

₹3,000.00 – ₹30,000.00

Mother Teresa was an Albanian–Indian Roman Catholic nun and missionary who dedicated her life to serving the poor and destitute around the world. She founded the Missionaries of Charity in 1950 and won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 for her humanitarian work. She is often referred to as the “Saint of the Gutters“ because of her work to help the poor and the physically and mentally ill. Mother Teresa‘s Kolkata Concept was a philosophy of service and charity that focused on meeting the immediate needs of the poor and providing them with hope and dignity. She believed in treating the poor with love and respect, and that their suffering must be addressed with compassion and action. The Kolkata Concept was based on the idea that everyone has the right to basic human needs and should be treated with dignity. Mother Teresa‘s legacy of selfless service and compassion for the poor continues to inspire people around the world.
