Ballard Pier Mole was a former station of the Mumbai Port Trust Railway in the Ballard Pier precinct of South Mumbai. The Ballard Pier Mole railway station was started in the early 1900s and shut in 1944. Some of the oldest trains in the country such as the Punjab Limited and the Frontier Mail (now renamed the Golden Temple Express) used to run from Ballard Pier Mole railway station till Peshawar. Ballard Pier Mole station was actually a hub for the Great Indian Peninsula Railway (GIPR) services.
